Our Story
Wilson Transportation was founded in 1987, when the Wilson Brother’s retail fertilizer business split into multiple distinct corporations. As a vertically integrated entity of Wilson Industrial Sales, Wilson Transporation ensures the company’s cross-continent distribution solutions meet and exceed industry-standard safety and service levels.
The original fertilizer business started with just a single lime spreading truck in 1960 – today, Wilson Transportation boasts a privately-owned fleet of state-of-the-art tanker trucks, as well as an extensive network of 3rd party logistics services.
In 2012, to improve our access to the interstate and other key transportation corridors, we relocated our corporate offices from Brook, IN to a new facility and distribution center in Rensselaer, IN. This move has enabled us to further improve our transportation operations and delivery times.
In 2021, Wilson’s Transportation acquired P.F.A. Systems. This grew our fleet to over 100 trucks and extended our owned fleet from Indiana to Houston, Chattanooga, Joliet, Savannah and other locations.
